Walkersons Hotel & Spa is set on a private estate of 800 hectares in the Mpumalanga Highlands, 10km outside Dullstroom.
It has 27 rooms, among them 14 Classic Rooms with a thatched roof, a king size bed and a lounge with an open fireplace. Each has a private patio looking over the estate's lakes and gardens. A mountain trail, mostly paved, gives a gentle walk, and there is a spa, a gym, a pool and a library. Children are welcome from 6.
