One of the longest established safari lodges in the business, Thornybush Game Lodge has 15 suites in the Thornybush Nature Reserve, about 20 minutes from Hoedspruit Airport.
Each suite sleeps 2 and has a private deck, air conditioning and both indoor and outdoor showers. The main area centres on a broad deck, a swimming pool and a boma for fireside dinners, with spa treatments on offer. Children of all ages are welcome, and a kids' programme covers baking, beading, bug walks and treasure hunts. Game drives go out morning and afternoon, with guided bush walks by arrangement.
