The Grand Daddy is a boutique hotel at 38 Long Street, in the centre of Cape Town, best known for what is on its roof.
Up there sits a park of 7 vintage Airstream trailers, each decorated around its own theme, from Cape Winelands and Karoo Dorps to Rooftop Safari and Gold Rush. Below, the hotel has regular rooms for those who prefer solid walls. Long Street's restaurants and bars are right outside the door. It is a playful, very Cape Town place to stay.
