Silvan Safari is set in a forest of leadwood and jackalberry trees in the Sabi Sand, with bold modern architecture and a playful, bohemian streak.
The bee-eater is its emblem, and its colours run through the interiors. There are 6 suites, each named after an indigenous tree, with a 4 poster king size bed and a private plunge pool facing the riverbed. The lodge has a pool, a spa and a restaurant. Guests need to be 12 or older.
