Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge has its own exclusive zone in the south west of the Pilanesberg, a Big 5 reserve of more than 55,000 hectares.
The reserve is free of malaria and about 2 hours from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Rooms come as Standard Rooms, an Executive Suite, a Family Suite and a Private Villa, and outdoor showers are a feature. The lodge has a swimming pool, the Amani Spa and a boma for dinners in the bush. Game drives go out twice a day, and hot air ballooning and bush walks can be added.
