Elephants are the theme at Serondella Lodge in the Thornybush, and the lodge is set up so you can watch them at close range.
It has just 7 rooms. The 2 Luxury Suites stand under the trees at the edge of the waterhole, each with a lounge, an outside deck, a plunge pool and a bath placed for privacy. Game drives go out at dawn and again in the late afternoon. The small size keeps things quiet and personal.
