Mount Camdeboo lies at the foot of the Sneeuberg range in the Karoo, a landscape of wide views and escarpments with a long human history.
Accommodation is spread across restored houses, among them Camdeboo Manor, a Cape Dutch house of 510 square metres with 4 rooms that suit families. It has Oregon pine floors and French doors onto landscaped gardens. The reserve is free of malaria, and there is a pool and a spa. Experienced rangers lead the game drives, and children are welcome from 2.
