A tunnel runs from the main lodge at Mhondoro to an underground hide beside the waterhole, putting you at eye level with elephants as they drink.
The spa and gym look onto the same waterhole, and there is a sauna, a saltwater pool and a stargazing deck. The 2 Luxury Pool Suites each have a heated plunge pool and a private deck, and families can book a 2 bedroom suite with its own pool. Welgevonden is a malaria-free Big 5 reserve. Children of 6 and over join regular game drives, and under 6s have their own bumble drives.
