Marataba Safari Lodge lies within Marakele National Park, about 3.5 hours by road from Johannesburg and in a part of the country free of malaria.
Days are built around morning and evening game drives in open vehicles, with bush walks paced to suit the fitness of whoever is walking. After dark there are night sky sessions and dinners in the boma or out in the bush. Spa treatments are given in the privacy of your suite, the pool is there for quiet hours in between, and children have their own activities.
