A waterhole sits directly in front of Lelapa, part of Madikwe Safari Lodge, and draws elephants and plains game through the day, with wild dog and brown hyena among the rarer visitors.
The 12 suites are split into 8 for couples and solo travellers and 4 family suites with bunk beds, each with a fireplace, a private deck and a plunge pool. Children of all ages are welcome, with babysitting available and a kids' safari club based at the Eco House. Adults have a spa, a gym and a large pool facing the waterhole. Game drives go out twice a day, and guided bush walks are offered too.
