Lion Sands River Lodge sits on the Sabie River in Lion Sands Game Reserve, a private reserve beside the Kruger National Park.
Its 18 rooms and suites are strung along the water's edge and come in 4 types: Luxury Rooms, Superior Luxury Rooms, River Suites and Family River Suites. Rooms have private terraces and outdoor showers, and the suites add a pool of their own. The mood is sociable, with pool and bar areas made for gathering between drives. Families are well catered for, with larger suites sleeping up to 4.
