Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa has 61 rooms and suites plus 18 villas, set among vineyards and gardens with mountain views in the Cape Winelands.
The buildings follow the Cape Dutch style. Families are well catered for: Classic Family Rooms and Family Suites pair a king bed with a loft holding 2 single beds, while the 1 bedroom villas add a lounge, kitchenette and patio. Every room has underfloor heating, climate control and an espresso machine, with breakfast included. Eat at Sauvage or the more casual La Pavillion, and book treatments at the Camelot Spa.
