An old waterhole lies a few metres from the lawn at Last Word Madikwe, and an underground hide at its edge lets photographers work at eye level.
The lodge takes 12 guests at most, in Classic Suites of 45 square metres with a bath, a separate shower and a private patio. A Private Villa has 3 en suite bedrooms, including a children's room sleeping 3, with its own pool and firepit. Madikwe is a Big 5 reserve free of malaria, explored on game drives twice a day. There is also a walking trail within the grounds.
