Open, airy spaces set the tone at Kapama River Lodge, on the Kapama Private Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger area.
There are 5 suite types, from the newly built Tamboti Superior Suites to Leadwood Family Suites and Royal Suites, and some can interlead for families or groups. Days are built around 2 Big Five game drives, with guided bush walks on offer too. Between drives there is a main pool with a cocktail bar, a wellness centre with 6 treatment rooms and a lap pool, and a cellar holding more than 600 South African wines. Young children are welcome, with their own Kapama Kids bush activities.
