Raised wooden walkways link the 10 tents at Kapama Buffalo Camp, which stand on platforms in the canopy of a riverine forest above a seasonal river.
Each tent has floor to ceiling glass panels, air conditioning, an en suite bathroom and a stocked minibar. The main area is small in scale: a lounge with a bar, a rim-flow pool with loungers, a dining area and an open-air boma. A shuttle runs to the wellness centre at Kapama Karula, which guests may use freely. Game drives go out in open vehicles, with guided bush walks as well.
