Elephants shape a stay at Jabulani, a Relais & Châteaux lodge on the Kapama Private Game Reserve.
It has its own herd and is closely tied to HERD, South Africa's first dedicated elephant orphanage. Accommodation is small in scale: 6 Superior Suites of 90 square metres, each with a private deck and plunge pool, plus exclusive use villas for families and groups. A suspension bridge crosses the riverbed, and the main lodge deck looks over a waterhole. Alongside 2 daily game drives there are bush walks, a spa, and elephant experiences for guests aged 6 and over.
