Ivory Tree Game Lodge sits at Bakgatla Gate inside the Pilanesberg, a malaria-free Big 5 reserve set in the crater of an ancient volcano.
Its 70 rooms run from Standard Suites to 4 Deluxe Suites, 4 Luxury Suites with heated plunge pools and fireplaces, and a Royal Suite with a jacuzzi and private boma. Family Suites have 2 bedrooms and a private plunge pool. Morning and evening game drives are joined by quad biking, archery and treatments at the Amani Spa. Children are welcome, though under 6s only go on drives in a private vehicle.
