Round thatched suites with brightly coloured earth walls give Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge the look of a traditional rondavel village.
There are 6 of them, each air-conditioned, with a king-size bed, a stone bath, an open-air shower and a private deck facing the bush. The lodge stands on the banks of the Mluwati River in a 10,000-hectare private concession inside the Kruger National Park. An infinity pool and an open-air fireplace anchor the main area, where Shangaan stories are told around the fire. Drives are in open vehicles, with guided bush walks and spa treatments also available.
