Grootbos Garden Lodge was built with families in mind, and children of all ages are welcome.
Its 11 freestanding suites sit among gardens and milkwood forest, and include 2 bedroom family suites that work well for several generations travelling together. Younger guests get a forest-themed indoor playroom with a jungle gym, an outdoor courtyard and their own kids' programmes. Adults have a heated pool facing the coast, a sauna and a spa with 3 treatment rooms. There is a restaurant, a wine cellar for private dinners and an outdoor boma, and the lodge is wheelchair friendly.
