Garonga Safari Camp has 6 suites, each with a private deck facing a waterhole on the Greater Makalali Private Nature Reserve.
The reserve covers 27,000 hectares, with the Makhutswi River running through it and the Drakensberg on the horizon. Game drives go out morning and afternoon in search of the Big 5. The lodge puts as much weight on slowing down as on the safari: there is a pool, massage treatments, a bush bath and a Sleep Out Deck for a night under the stars. Dinner is sometimes served in the boma.
