Rather than a single hotel, Boschendal Wine Estate spreads its guests across cottages, farmhouses and a villa in the Franschhoek Valley.
Options run from Retreat Cottages for 4 and Orchard Cottages for 2 to 8, up to Cottage 1685 for 10 and the Mountain Villa for 12. Families are well catered for, with a Tree House holiday programme for children of 4 to 12, a play area and a pump track. Days can be filled with wine tastings, horse riding, garden tours and mountain biking or hiking trails. There are 3 restaurants, The Deli, Retreat and Arum, plus a farm shop and butchery.
