&Beyond Phinda Rock Lodge is built into a cliffside, with each of its 6 suites looking down into a deep valley.
Heavy stone walls and solid wooden shutters and doors give the rooms a sheltered, cave-like feel. Every suite is 72 square metres and has a private plunge pool, a veranda with a daybed and a personal bar. With a maximum of 2 guests per suite, the lodge never holds more than 12 people. The steps and levels that come with the setting mean it is not suited to anyone with mobility difficulties.
