Glass is the defining material at &Beyond Phinda Forest Lodge: each suite has floor to ceiling panes that look straight into rare dry sand forest.
There are 15 suites for 2 guests and 1 Family Suite sleeping up to 4, all with a private veranda. The lodge has a pool, gym and spa, plus a safari shop and an Ardmore gallery. Phinda covers 29,866 hectares and 7 habitats, home to the Big 5, cheetah and black rhino, and explored on game drives twice a day. Children are welcome and have the WILDchild programme.
