&Beyond Ngala Tented Camp is pitched on the bank of the Timbavati riverbed, between riverine forest and open sand.
Its 9 tented suites stand on raised platforms, each 100 square metres, with indoor and outdoor showers, an outdoor bath and a wooden deck with a shaded sala. The pool looks over the riverbed, and there is a spa and a gym for the hours between drives. Game drives go out twice a day across 14,700 hectares that share an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park. Guests need to be 12 or older.
