Walking comes first at Africa on Foot, where each morning starts with a 3 hour guided bush walk over flat, easy ground in the Klaserie.
An evening game drive follows later in the day, and a drive replaces the walk if the weather turns. The lodge is small: 5 thatched chalets, of which 2 are family chalets, plus a treehouse with a double bed and an outdoor bathroom. There are 2 swimming pools with loungers and a boma with a campfire. Rooms are simple, with mosquito nets and solar powered mist fans.
